Another Regular Meeting of Department Heads Held at Edremit Vocational School Within the Scope of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Labors

At the meeting chaired by Prof. Dr. Selami SELVİ, Director of Edremit Vocational School, the Self-Evaluation Reports (SER) to be completed by June 30, 2026, for the Machinery, Computer Programming, Construction Technology, Mechatronics, and Electricity Programs—which have applied for accreditation—were discussed. While reviewing the work carried out by the programs, views were exchanged on key points to consider during the report preparation process, addressing deficiencies, and ensuring progress in line with the planned schedule.

Furthermore, it was decided during the meeting to initiate a peer review practice among the programs. Within this scope, the Self-Evaluation Report prepared by each program will be reviewed by other programs to provide feedback, thereby ensuring that the reports become more qualified, consistent, and comprehensive.

Thanks to these meetings, which are systematically conducted throughout the year as part of accreditation efforts at Edremit Vocational School, the development processes of the programs are closely monitored. This approach aims to internalize the culture of quality and strengthen continuous improvement efforts.
