The Electricity Program Alumni Meeting was held online via the BAUNMEET platform on 11.02.2026 at 19:30
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Lecturer İsmail MUTLU, Head of the Department of Electricity and Energy, with the participation of Lecturer Özer KULA and alumni from various periods.
During the meeting, the current status of the Electricity Program, course curricula, internship processes, and the professional experiences of graduates in the industry were comprehensively evaluated. Sharing their professional insights, the alumni provided feedback and suggestions regarding the program’s strengths and areas for improvement. Specifically, they emphasized the need to increase laboratory and practical courses to ensure graduates are more effective in the sector.
Furthermore, it was decided to organize activities such as seminars and career talks, where successful alumni will guide current students on career planning and professional steps. It was also agreed that alumni meetings should be held twice a year at the end of each semester. The meeting concluded with closing remarks and well wishes.
